With great happiness of all staff of Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics and Public Administration looking forward to the 60^th anniversary of “Traditional Day”, the Institute of Culture and Development officially celebrated its 25^th anniversary of “Traditional Day” ( 1984- 2009) and was awarded the Gold Star Order.

Pursuing the Agreement on training co-operation  between  the Socialist Republic of Vietnam and the Lao People’s Democratic Republic, the Ho Chi Minh  National Academy of Politics and Public Administration (HCMA) officially opened the 10^th course ( 2009- 2010) of the Advanced Program in theories of Politics for Laos’ senior officials.

In August 2009, Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics and Public Administration (HCMA) received the following international delegations visiting and working at the Academy:

1. From 3^rd to 11^th August 2009, the Institute of Philosophy organized an international philosophy workshop on the topic: “The contemporary East-Western philosophy” with the participation of scientists from the US Temple University and the head of the Institute of philosophy studies.
