The 25^th anniversary of “Traditional Day” of the Institute of Culture and Development (1984-2009) and the Gold Star Order award

            With great happiness of all staff of Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics and Public Administration looking forward to the 60^th anniversary of “Traditional Day”, the Institute of Culture and Development officially celebrated its 25^th anniversary of “Traditional Day” ( 1984- 2009) and was awarded the Gold Star Order.

Attending the meeting were: Ex-Politburo member, the Academy’s ex- President, Professor and People’s Teacher Nguyen Duc Binh;  member of the Party’s Central Committee,  President of the Academy, Professor- Dr Le Huu Nghia; Vice-President of the Academy, Associate Professor- Dr Le Quoc Ly; the ex- Vice-Presidents; and leaders from all institutes, departments, centers and functioning units of the Academy. Dr To Huy Rua,  member of Politburo , Chief of the Central Committee for Propaganda and Education, the Academy’s ex-President sent in flowers of congratulation. Coming as guests were : Dr Ta Ngoc Tan, member of the Party’s Central Committee, Chief-editor  of the Communist Review, Dr Do Xuan Dinh, Chief-editor  of the Communist Party Development Review; Dr Nguyen Van Cuong, Director of Hanoi University of Culture, leaders from Department of History- University of Social Sciences and Humanities, the Central  Committee for Propaganda and Education, Culture & Art Union, political schools of Hanoi, Vinh Phuc, Lai Chau, and Dien Bien….; professors and culture researchers: Ho Duc Vinh, Do Huy, Phan Khanh;  parallel  sentences sent in by “Hero of Labor” Vu Khieu ; all leaders, teachers, officers, learners and alumni of the Institute of Culture and Development.                 On behalf of the Institute’s staff, Director, Associate Professor- Dr Pham Huy Duc had a speech summarizing the Institute’s growing periods during the last 25 years. “Following the Board of Presidents’ instructions, we have overcome a lot of challenges and difficulties to gain our position in the whole Academy’s development”, he also said.

On behalf of leaders from the Academy. President Le Huu Nghia gave the Order and his congratulations to the Institute, acknowledged the achievements gained by all the Institute’s staff since the day of foundation as their great contribution to teaching, learning, studying cultural reasoning activities, to maintaining and developing the Marxist-Leninist’ principles, Ho Chi Minh’ ideology, the Party’s method of establishing a Vietnamese culture which is advanced and profoundly imbued with national. He hoped that the Institute would continue its tradition and keep on renovating and improving teaching and doing researches, enhance building up the staff to meet the demanding needs of innovation in the period of speeding up industrialization and modernization.
